AdvancedAngler.com features Mrs. Chapman

Too funny.
Here is my fifteen minutes. AdvancedAngler.com is going to be a great website. I love that they get the 'behind the scenes' aspect of professional bass fishing. They interviewed me and did a very nice write up. Thanks guys!!!!

2011 has arrived

Back to the grind.
Brent and I are very busy working on boat wrap, truck wrap, jersey, tackle, year end accounting and prep work for 2011 BASS Classic and Elites. It is always crazy busy as we prepare for BASS life. I have loved my time at home and look forward to hitting the road again.
I have kept myself 'over-committed' the entire fall and winter of 2010. No regrets though. I have been more involved at church, running, volunteering in Mason and Makayla's classrooms, planning our big Ragnar Relay race, running, working on new sponsor contracts, running, chairing the Lake Quivira Mother's Club, running, Running the 200 mile race across Florida on Nov 19-20....no more running. I became a bum after the race and took one month off from exercise.
Preparing for the race became all consuming. I really think I over trained. It was the best experience and I cannot wait to do it again next year!!! I will train lighter and maintain strength training. Hopefully next time I will not need an entire month to recover!!
Loved my fishtails....and our support team.
Looking forward to 2011---I am excited. Praying the Brent will win the Classic this year. Praying Brent will have a great season on the Elites this year. Praying I do a good job homeschooling this year.
My family is amazing and I cannot wait to get in the camper and have hours and hours and hours of one-on-one time with my kiddos!!!

SLACKER

I am a total slacker!!!!! I have no excuse for not updating. I have so many things to talk about. I have managed to fill every free minute since the end of the Elite Series season. Both my kiddos are in school and I have been using most of my free time training for the Ragnar Relay. I have also done a few 5Ks, my first 1oK and my first triathlon since my last post. I will try to get some photos and do a good post soon.
